ASIC update – AFS licensees to submit breach reports via ASIC Regulatory Portal

Effective from 30 March 2020, Australian financial services (AFS) licensees will need to submit breach reports to ASIC via the ASIC Regulatory Portal.  The portal is where ASIC’s regulated community can undertake a growing number of regulatory transactions with ASIC.

The ASIC Regulatory Portal help page also has resources about using the portal.  These include step-by-step user guides, FAQs and instructional videos on topics such as how an AFS licensee can register an account and invite trusted representatives to act on its behalf.
