Alanah is a solicitor at CNM Legal and holds a Bachelor of Justice and Bachelor of Laws. She has experience across corporate advisory, financial services and funds management, with a particular focus on regulatory compliance and licensing.
Her work involves:
- drafting and reviewing constitutions and information memoranda for managed investment schemes;
- preparing compliance charters, risk frameworks and policies for financial services businesses and trustees;
- advising on AML/CTF requirements and preparing AML/CTF compliance programs;
- assisting with corporate governance and shareholder arrangements, including shareholder agreements and trust deeds;
- advising on investment structures and capital raising initiatives;
- supporting clients with ASIC and AUSTRAC compliance, including AML/CTF obligations and financial reporting; and
- preparing Australian financial services licence applications and variations.
