Zara is a corporate legal assistant with more than 30 years’ experience in the legal industry.  She is experienced in the corporate advisory, financial services and funds management legal services provided by CNM Legal.

Zara is efficient and responsive and is directly involved in assisting both clients and lawyers in the delivery of legal services undertaken by CNM Legal, including communicating with clients, regulators, financial entities and service providers; and also managing internal office administration.

Clients of CNM Legal include responsible entities, wholesale trustees, investment managers, financial planning groups, banks, custodians, venture capitalists and securities dealers.

Zara is particularly involved with the work undertaken by CNM Legal on behalf of financial service provider clients and funds management clients by:

• assisting in preparation and lodgement of Australian financial services (AFS) licence applications and variations, including assisting with reviewing the experience and qualifications of potential responsible managers;
• arranging for company incorporations required in the establishment of funds management and financial services businesses; and
• managing ongoing compliance arrangements, including preparing, circulating and reviewing periodic compliance checklists and preparation of compliance reports for AFS licensee clients.
