ASIC cancels AFS licence of Thistle Financial Group Pty Ltd

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has cancelled the Australian Financial Services licence (AFSL) of the Queensland financial services provider Thistle Financial Group.

Thistle Financial Group had ceased to carry on a financial services business, which caused ASIC to cancel their AFSL as under section 915B of the Corporations Act.

Background

Thistle Financial Group held an AFSL (no. 484742) since 22 July 2016. They carried authorisations to carry on financial services in regard to dealing and providing financial services advice to both retail and wholesale clients
